The electric power assist is available as a separate kit which can be fitted to the standard Mountain Trike
eKit will allow you to:
- Power Assist by twisting the throttle
- Manually propel the Trike using the lever drive system (as you currently would)
- Hybrid by pushing drive levers and twisting throttle simultaneously
Specification:
- Motor: 250W, 36V Hub Motor
- Battery: 12.8Ah, 36V Lithium Ion Battery, includes mains charger
- Throttle: Twist grip or thumb lever
- Display: LCD screen with speed, distance, average speed, max speed and power settings

Taller Seat Back
Taller Seat Back Details
With our Self Propel Trikes for our MT original and our MT Evo model they come with the standard back height of 320mm high. However higher backs can be incorporated.
- 50mm taller back support with standard back cushion – no extra cost. This does leave a 50mm gap between the base cushion and the back cushion. Some customers like this small gap for air flow and pressure relief.
- 100mm taller back support with standard back cushion. No extra cost and this will leave a 100mm gap between the cushions
- 100mm taller back support with 100mm taller back cushion – This costs extra as our seat manufacturer makes a custom taller cushion as a one off. There is no gap between the cushions.
- 150mm taller back support with 150mm taller back cushion – This costs extra for the larger cushion.
- 150mm is the highest we can offer as any higher will start to restrict movement when operating the lever drive and also put too much strain on the seat latch mechanism.
Footplate Riser
Footplate Riser Details
We can adjust the footplate to suit your height and can add an additional footplate riser or extension to suit your needs.
- An extra 60mm footplate Riser can be added at a cost
- If you require a higher footplate riser of over 60mm there will be an additional cost
- We can also add a set of anti tip brackets at a cost
- If required, we can also make an extended footplate of up to 150mm at a cost

Taller Push Handle

Our standard Push handle is 98cm and we can provide a taller handle if required. We can make a Push handle 50mm taller making a height of 103cm
Spoke Guards
Spoke Guards Details
If you are concerned about wandering fingers then we can fit a pair of clear plastic spoke guard discs.
- These can be fitted on either the outside of each wheel or on both sides using two sets of spoke guards.
Tire Slime
Tire Slime Details
If you would like the reassurance of having the tires filled with slime we do offer this service.
- All tires can be filled with slime to prevent and aid in any punctures
